Start Connect from your agent, approve the agent connection, and sign in with the Google account that owns your channel. Select the intended YouTube or Brand Account when Google offers that choice. Finish the return to your agent.
Ask your agent to list your authorized channels. Confirm the channel name and permanent ID, then review and save its SEO profile. Connect each additional channel separately as your agent supports.

Each connected channel can save its own approved links, description footer, tone, spelling variants, and recurring shows. Profiles use the channel’s permanent YouTube ID.

List the YouTube channels authorized by this connection. Confirm the intended channel name and permanent ID. Read its SEO profile and show any settings that still need my review. Then list my three newest videos. Do not change or upload anything.
Next, ask for the SEO starter templates. Choose and review the profile for your channel, then save it. Videos and channel settings change only when you run a confirmed write.
Your agent needs remote MCP over HTTP and OAuth support. Install links are app-specific; copying the server URL is the general setup path. A chat message containing the URL does not automatically install the connection.
Each connection uses Google authorization for the account that owns the intended channel. YouTube Studio manager/editor invitations alone do not provide YouTube API access. Google may restrict access while the app is in testing or awaiting verification; your Vault9 administrator can confirm current availability.
Provide a publicly reachable HTTPS download URL, such as an approved signed media link. Small files may also fit the agent’s base64 request limit. Desktop file paths do not refer to files on this server. Review the destination channel, metadata, visibility and preview before approving. New videos default to private.
Processed Analytics reports can lag by 48–72 hours. Current video statistics are a separate tool. Total views, engaged views, and the last-60-minutes chart in YouTube Studio are different measurements.
Google shows the requested YouTube and analytics permissions during sign-in. The connector can read channel data and perform confirmed changes. OAuth credentials, channel profiles and change logs are stored privately on the Vault9 server. See the data-use notice for disconnect and removal information.
